Michael specializes in finding innovative solutions for groups and individuals working in challenging global conditions. His work focuses on providing clients the necessary tools to help them achieve their goals, overcome obstacles, and navigate the complexities of global business with savvy, style, and sensitivity, no matter what shape their ventures take. For over twelve years, Michael has been busy designing and facilitating programs for global executives and managers on leadership and change management, cross-cultural communication and team building, diversity and inclusion, coaching and personal development, and international sales and negotiation. His work has also included the recruiting and staffing of high-level international executives and managers for positions throughout the world.
Michael has conducted business in over 30 countries, including building and growing a consultancy business in Japan, staffing a global advertising conglomerate throughout Europe, and leading a business development initiative in Latin America. His experiences have left him with a strong understanding of the pitfalls and challenges business professionals may face while working with the global community. He regularly facilitates large groups as well as conducts private coaching sessions. Michael also shares his expertise with others by lecturing at schools and universities on subjects such as intercultural communication, cross-cultural marketing, negotiation, and HR management, among other topics. His client list has included top-tier companies in the Finance, IT, Retail, Healthcare and Electronics arena, including General Electric, Citibank, Yahoo!, Apple, Novartis, Roche, and Samsung.
Michael is fluent in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, proficient in Japanese, and has a working knowledge of Italian. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Miami and a M.A. in Global Training and HR Management from Lesley University. Guided by his passion for exploring different cultures and learning new languages, Michael continually seeks to broaden his own understanding of the global community. He has lived in Colombia, Brazil, Japan, Dominican Republic, and has spent extended time in China. Michael currently resides in San Francisco, CA.
Ejine Olga Nzeribe
Ejine is a resourceful trainer and facilitator with more than 20 years experience in the corporate arena. She has led the design and delivery of a wide array of training and development initiatives across numerous industries and disciplines, including customer service, communications, sales, and human resources. Early in her career, Ejine established herself as a leader in developing training and leadership development strategies for major companies in Nigeria such as Red Star Express, an affiliate of FedEx and Vmobile, which was later acquired by Zain. Her learning and development work with these firms produced significant and measurable business results and in the case of Vmobile, led to her being honored with the CEO Eagle Award for Excellent Performance.
As a valued Accelerator, Ejine has played an integral role in the design, development and delivery of one of Accelerate’s most recent and major leadership initiatives: Managing@Zain, a suite of management programs custom built for an international telecommunications company operating in 23 countries throughout the Middle East and Africa. Ejine obtained a BA in Theatre Arts from University of Jos Nigeria, an LL.B from the University of Buckingham, England, and an MBA from the Durham Business School, England. She is a British Chevening Scholar and a soon-to-be-published author.
